Ivysaur – Kanto’s bud in the light
This Japanese Ivysaur card 002/165 (フシギソウ / Ivysaur) comes from sv2a Pokémon Card 151 (2023), the tribute set to the original 151 Pokémon of Kanto, released in the West simply as 151. Yuu Nishida places it in a shaft of light in the undergrowth, pink bud ready to bloom – the more sunlight it soaks up, the more strength builds within it and the larger its bud grows, the Pokédex explains. The middle link of the Grass starter line.

- Attack “Leech Seed”: 30 damage, and heal 20 damage from this Pokémon
