Shiny Klefki 087/190 – Shiny Treasure ex (sv4a) – Japanese Pokémon Card

Klefki – the key ring that locks Abilities

This Japanese Klefki card 087/190 (クレッフィ / Klefki) comes from sv4a Shiny Treasure ex (2023), the big “high class” set packed with shiny cards, released in the West as Paldean Fates, here in the set’s typical shiny “mirror” version. Gossan has the little Fairy key ring twirl in a bright greenhouse, golden and iron keys hanging from its ring – in the past, nobles entrusted it with the keys to their chests from generation to generation, the Pokédex tells us. In tournaments, its Ability muzzles Basic Pokémon: a little lock that sees a lot of play.

Card characteristics

• Basic Pokémon, Psychic type, 70 HP
• Ability “Mischievous Lock”: as long as this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, Basic Pokémon in play (both yours and your opponent’s) have no Abilities, except for Mischievous Lock
• Attack “Joust”: 10 damage; before doing damage, discard all Pokémon Tools from your opponent’s Active Pokémon
• Number 087/190, shiny finish, illustration by GOSSAN, ©2023

The same illustration exists as a holographic card in the launch set: Klefki holo from Violet ex.

Also worth a look in the shop: budget Japanese cards.
