Shipping
All our Japanese Pokémon cards leave La Rochelle by La Poste tracked letter, carefully protected. Here is everything you need to know about packaging, rates, delivery times and tracking your order.
One shipping method: La Poste tracked letter
All orders are shipped by La Poste tracked letter: within France this is the Lettre verte suivie (tracked green letter); to the other countries of the European Union, the Lettre suivie internationale (international tracked letter). As soon as your order is shipped, you receive a tracking number so you can see where your envelope is at any time.
Why don’t we offer standard untracked post? An untracked letter has no tracking number: nothing proves that it was sent or delivered. If it were lost, there would be no way to trace your envelope, and we could not properly refund you or send your card again. A tracked letter costs only a few cents more and protects both your order and our shop.
Packaging designed for trading cards
Every order is packed by hand, with the same care as a card from our own collection:
- each card is slipped into a sleeve (a soft protective pocket);
- the cards are placed between two rigid cardboard sheets so that they cannot bend;
- the whole is wrapped in bubble wrap, then slipped into an envelope.
Top loader option: +€0.20 per card
For extra protection, you can add a top loader (a rigid plastic holder) to each card. Simply tick the “Add a top loader” option on the card’s product page before adding it to your basket. The top loader is yours to keep: it will also serve to store your card.

Postage costs
Postage costs depend on the weight of the parcel, and therefore on the number of cards and top loaders. They are calculated automatically in your basket as soon as you enter your country.
| Parcel weight | What this represents (approximately) | France | European Union |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to 100 g | 30 sleeved cards, or 7 cards with top loaders | €3.90 | €7.90 |
| Up to 250 g | 100 sleeved cards, or 23 cards with top loaders | €6.10 | €14.90 |
| Up to 500 g | 210 sleeved cards, or 50 cards with top loaders | €8.20 | €19.90 |
| Up to 2 kg | Larger orders | €11.90 | €34.90 |
| Free delivery | from €50 spent | from €100 spent | |
Our rates follow the current La Poste rates, plus a few cents for packaging (cardboard, bubble wrap, envelope). Most orders fall into the first weight band.
Free delivery
The tracked letter is free from €50 spent in France and from €100 spent in the European Union. A progress bar in your basket shows how much more you need to spend to qualify; once the threshold is reached, free delivery is selected automatically.
Delivery times
Your order is packed and handed to La Poste as quickly as possible after your payment is confirmed, generally within 2 working days.
- France: La Poste quotes around 3 working days for a tracked letter.
- European Union: allow a few more working days, depending on the country and the local carrier that takes over from La Poste.
These times are indicative and depend on La Poste; they may be longer during the festive season or at busy times.
Tracking your order
As soon as your order is shipped, you receive an email, “Your order has been shipped”, with your tracking number and a direct link to tracking on laposte.fr. If you have a customer account, you can also find this number in My account, on your order page.
For parcels sent within the European Union, tracking is provided by La Poste as far as the border, then by the postal service of the destination country.
A problem with your parcel?
Check your address when ordering: an incomplete or incorrect address can delay delivery or cause the envelope to be returned.
Damaged envelope, unusual delay or a parcel that has not arrived? Write to us at [email protected] with your order number and, if possible, photos of the envelope and the card. Thanks to the tracking number, we can open an investigation with La Poste and find a solution with you.
In accordance with the French Consumer Code (Article L.216-4), the risk of loss or damage passes to you when you take physical possession of your order: until then, it remains with us.
