Great Tusk – the ancestral mastodon of Terastal Festival
This Japanese Great Tusk card 086/187 (イダイナキバ / Great Tusk) comes from sv8a Terastal Festival ex (2024), the big “high class” set released in the West as Prismatic Evolutions. GIDORA has the presumed ancestor of Donphan charge through the prehistoric jungle, ivory tusks first – there have been recent sightings, and its name comes from a creature described in an old book, the Pokédex tells us. It joins Scream Tail and Flutter Mane among the “Ancient” Paradox Pokémon in the shop.
Card characteristics
- Basic Pokémon, Fighting type, 140 HP, Ancient trait
- Attack “Land Collapse”: discard the top card of your opponent’s deck; if you played an Ancient Supporter card from your hand during this turn, discard 3 more cards
- Attack “Giant Tusks”: 160 damage
- Rarity R, number 086/187, illustration by GIDORA, ©2024
Also worth a look in the shop: Flutter Mane holo, Scream Tail, budget Japanese cards.
