R – Rare
Japanese R Pokémon Cards: The Holo Rares
R (Rare) cards are, in Japanese expansions, holographic cards: the artwork shines, which makes them enjoyable to collect without reaching the value of the special rarities.
They carry the letter “R” at the bottom of the card and are part of the expansion’s regular card list.
Our R cards come in particular from Terastal Festival ex (sv8a), Incandescent Arcana (s11a) and Pokémon Card 151 (sv2a). To compare, also check out our U (Uncommon) cards, RR (Double Rare) cards and AR (Art Rare) cards. Many of them are also among our cheap Japanese Pokémon cards. All the rarity codes are explained in our guide Japanese Pokémon Card Rarity, and every rarity is gathered on the Japanese Pokémon cards by rarity page.
All our Japanese R Pokémon cards are authentic copies sold individually, with real photos of the exact card you will receive and protected shipping from France. R cards that have already passed through the shop include Golisopod, Toxicroak and Zapdos.
