Fan Rotom card – the possessed fan

This Japanese Fan Rotom card 131/187 (スピンロトム / Fan Rotom) comes from sv8a Terastal Festival ex (2024), the big “high class” set of the Scarlet & Violet era, released in the West as Prismatic Evolutions. Toshinao Aoki has the fan ghost whirl in great swirls of air – of all the household appliances Rotom can possess, the fan was the very first to be developed, the Pokédex tells us. Its Ability makes it a formidable deck starter on the first turn.

Fan Rotom card characteristics

Basic Pokémon, Colorless type, 70 HP, Fighting resistance −30
Ability “Fan Call”: during your first turn, search your deck for up to 3 Colorless Pokémon with 100 HP or less and put them into your hand
Attack “Assault Landing”: 70 damage, but the attack does nothing if there is no Stadium in play
