Terastal Pikachu ex, the star of the MEGA Dream ex High Class Pack

This card comes from the m2a “MEGA Dream ex” High Class Pack, released in Japan on 28 November 2025 (international equivalent: Ascended Heroes, 2026). High Class Packs – in the tradition of Shiny Treasure ex or Terastal Festival ex – are end-of-year expansions with a high rate of rare cards. This is the reprint of the Terastal Pikachu ex illustrated by aky CG Works, mascot of the Super Electric Breaker / Surging Sparks expansion, here in its Terastal form with multicoloured crystals.

Why this card?

Pikachu, quite simply: the most iconic Pokémon of the franchise, in a superb Terastal form, and a card that is played in competitive thanks to its survival Ability.

The card in play

Lightning-type Basic Pokémon, 200 HP, Terastal (takes no damage from attacks while on the Bench). Ability: if this Pokémon has full HP and would be Knocked Out by damage from an attack, it stays in play with 10 HP remaining. Attack: Topaz Bolt (Grass/Lightning/Metal) – 300 damage, discard 3 Energy from this Pokémon. ex rule: your opponent takes 2 Prize cards when this Pokémon is Knocked Out.
