Bruno 396/414 – Start Deck 100 (sI) – Japanese Pokémon Card

Bruno card – the Elite Four colossus in meditation

This Japanese Trainer Supporter card Bruno 396/414 (シバ / Bruno, ICHIGEKI Single Strike banner) comes from sI Start Deck 100 (2021), the legendary Japanese box set of 100 numbered decks, which has remained a Japan-only exclusive. Ken Sugimori portrays the legendary karate master of the Kanto Elite Four meditating among the rocks, Poké Ball in fist — a recovery Supporter that is even more generous when you have just suffered a KO.

Bruno card specifications

• Supporter-type Trainer card — only one per turn, Single Strike style
• Effect: shuffle your hand into your deck, then draw 4 cards; if any of your Pokémon were Knocked Out during your opponent’s last turn, draw 7 cards instead
• Number 396/414, illustration by Ken Sugimori, ©2021

His favourite protégé awaits him in the shop: the 151 set’s holo Machamp — and from the same Start Deck 100 box, the Switch card from this same batch.

Also worth a look in the shop: budget-friendly Japanese cards.

Real photos – two copies available

The photos on this listing show the exact cards you will receive (two copies available, each photographed). The card is shipped in a sleeve, between two rigid cardboard sheets with bubble wrap, by La Poste tracked letter from France (top loader optional).

A new student of the Single Strike style is training in the shop: the puppy Rockruff 086/184 from VMAX Climax.

Another fan of Single Strike in the shop: the holo Houndoom 103/184, whose roar speeds up the style’s decks.

From the same Start Deck 100, Barry 399/414 (draws 3 cards) and the Great Ball 373/414 have arrived in the shop.

Another version has arrived: the Single Strike Bruno from VMAX Climax.
