Noivern V alternate art, the card signed by Mitsuhiro Arita

This Noivern V alternate art is one of the most sought-after cards of the Japanese expansion s7D “Skyscraping Perfection” (摩天パーフェクト), released in Japan on 9 July 2021 – the Japanese counterpart of the Evolving Skies expansion. Secret rare numbered 074/067, in SR rarity.

A legendary illustration

The illustration is signed Mitsuhiro Arita, one of the most emblematic artists of the Pokémon TCG – he is the man behind the Base Set Charizard of 1999. It shows Noivern diving between the buildings of a city at night, in a full-page composition with the textured holographic finish typical of Japanese Special Art cards. Estimated pull rate: about one per 16 displays.

The card in play

Basic Pokémon V, 200 HP. Attack 1: an attack that deals 20 damage to each of your opponent’s Pokémon. Attack 2: Synchro Loud – 60 damage, plus 120 more damage if you have the same number of cards in hand as your opponent. V rule: your opponent takes 2 Prize cards when this Pokémon is Knocked Out.
