Pidgey card – the first bird of Kanto’s roads
This Japanese Pidgey card 016/165 (ポッポ / Pidgey) comes from sv2a Pokémon Card 151 (2023), the tribute set to the original 151 Pokémon of Kanto, released in the West simply as 151. Oswaldo Kato perches it on a branch amid golden-yellow foliage – docile by nature, it nonetheless retaliates fiercely when provoked, the Pokédex warns. The very first Pokémon that generations of Trainers met on Route 1.
