Seadra card – the seahorse facing the fishing hook
This Japanese Seadra card 025/184 (シードラ / Seadra) comes from s8b VMAX Climax (2021), the high-class set from the end of the Sword & Shield era. This artwork was released in the West in Battle Styles (032/163). The illustrator 0313 shows it underwater with a scowl, facing a fishing line with a Poké Ball for a float. By rapidly flapping its fins and tail, it can swim backwards while still looking ahead, according to the card’s Pokédex text.
