Stoutland 060/070 – Peerless Fighters (s5a) – Japanese Pokémon Card

Stoutland card – the moustachioed guardian under the snow

This Japanese Stoutland card 060/070 (ムーランド / Stoutland) comes from s5a Peerless Fighters (2021), the fighting-styles set from which this card was reprinted in the West in Evolving Skies. It is signed by Naoki Saito, one of the card game’s star illustrators, who lays the big dog down in the snow in front of the village clock — in cold regions, every household once raised its own Stoutland, says the Pokédex. And its Ability discourages anyone who dares to face it head-on.

Stoutland card specifications

• Stage 2 Pokémon (evolves from Herdier), Colourless type, 160 HP
• Ability: as long as this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, attacks used by your opponent’s Active Pokémon do 30 less damage
• Attack: 120+ damage; flip a coin, and if heads, +100 damage
• Rarity U, number 060/070, illustration by Naoki Saito, ©2021

The starting point of its line is in the shop: Lillipup 058/070, from the same s5a set — the loyal puppy and his imposing grandfather.
