Alolan Vulpix 022/150 – GX Ultra Shiny (sm8b) – Japanese Pokémon Card

Alolan Vulpix card – the watercolour snow fox

This Japanese Alolan Vulpix card 022/150 (アローラロコン / Alolan Vulpix) comes from sm8b GX Ultra Shiny (2018), the “high class” set of shiny Pokémon of the Sun & Moon era – this card reprints the one from Guardians Rising (021/145). You Iribi paints the little white fox with its snowy curls in watercolour, in a bluish forest beneath falling flakes. It exhales a freezing breath at -50 °C, and the elders of Alola call it “Ke’oke’o”, the Pokédex tells us. Its beacon attack fetches two Pokémon from your deck without costing a single Energy.

Alolan Vulpix card specifications

• Basic Pokémon, Water type, 60 HP
• First attack (no Energy cost): search your deck for up to 2 Pokémon, reveal them and put them into your hand
• Second attack: 20 damage
• Number 022/150, illustration by You Iribi, ©2018

Its evolution is waiting for it in the shop in Secret Rare form: the Alolan Ninetales-GX. To power it, the Basic Water Energy from this same batch is available.
