Arbok card – the cobra that poisons, burns and confuses
This Japanese Arbok card 044/071 (アーボック) comes from sv5K Wild Force (2024), released in the West in Temporal Forces (101/162). Minato has it rearing up in a brightly coloured, stylised jungle, hood flared. The pattern on its belly looks like a menacing face: the most timid opponents flee the moment they see it, says the Pokédex. Its first attack poisons, burns and confuses in a single move.
Card details
- Stage 1 Pokémon (evolves from Ekans), Darkness type, 130 HP, Fighting weakness ×2, retreat cost 2
- First attack: the opponent’s Active Pokémon is now Burned, Confused and Poisoned
- Second attack: 70 damage
- Rarity C, number 044/071, illustration by Minato, ©2024
It evolves from Ekans: Team Rocket’s Ekans has arrived in this batch. An ideal combo with Team Rocket’s Muk, whose second attack counts Special Conditions. From the same Wild Force set, Mudsdale and Coalossal are available.
