Tropius card – the tropical glider with the bananas
This Japanese Tropius card 001/073 (トロピウス) comes from sv1a Triplet Beat (2023), the set of the Paldea starters, released in the West in Paldea Evolved, of which it is the very first card. Taira Akitsu has it glide over a beach fringed with hibiscus – the fruit that grows in bunches around its neck is sweet and delicious, and it bears fruit twice a year, the Pokédex tells us. Number 001 of a set is always a little extra for collectors.
