Ace amiibo card no. 443 – Animal Crossing Series 5
Ace (Boumboum in French) is a blue bird with a cream face, orange cheeks and long black eyebrows, here wearing his light blue mandarin-collar jacket. Sporty at heart, he talks about training, challenges and fitness all day long – with the slightly disorganised enthusiasm that goes with it. In New Horizons, his hobby is nature and he likes to wander about with a book in hand to identify a flower, an insect or a fish.
An angler who never keeps anything
Ace’s original profile already presented him this way: he knows every pond and every spot where the fish bite, but never sells his catches and never donates any to the museum. Too soft-hearted for that, he systematically releases everything he catches. True to himself, in the Happy Home Paradise expansion, he will ask you for a fishing spot all of his own.
A veteran from the very beginning
Unlike most of the villagers who arrived with the 2.0 update, Ace is no newcomer: he was there from the very first Animal Crossing games on GameCube, before disappearing from the series for almost seventeen years. He made his return in New Horizons in November 2021, and the amiibo card series 5 is the one that goes with it.
On the Japanese card, he is called フェザー
The name printed on the front reads “Feather”. Each language gave him its own name: Boumboum in French, Ace in English, Uno in Spanish, Asso in Italian. This is indeed card no. 443, and on a French console the character will be called Boumboum. As amiibo are not region-locked, the card scans on every Switch and the dialogue stays in the language of your console.

Ace is a villager: scan his card from the Nook Stop terminal to invite him to your campsite, then ask him to move in after several visits.
