Description de ce produit

Azalea amiibo card no. 446 – Animal Crossing Series 5

Azalea (Azalée in French) is a pale blue rhino with a yellow horn adorned with a large white flower, tired eyes and pink eyeshadow. Snooty by nature, she has a sharp tongue and takes a while to soften. In New Horizons, her hobby is nature: you often come across her book in hand, studying a flower, an insect or a fossil.

A villager who was absent for eighteen years

Azalea had only appeared in Doubutsu no Mori e+, the 2003 Japanese edition in which you had to scan her e-Reader card to bring her to town. She then remained absent from the entire series until her return in Animal Crossing: New Horizons with the 2.0 update of November 2021. The amiibo card series 5, released for the occasion, is precisely the one that brings together these newcomers – it is the most recent in the collection.

The name printed on the card is ペチュニア

Be careful not to be misled: the Japanese version calls this character ペチュニア (Petunia), another flower. This is indeed card no. 446, Azalea’s – only the choice of flower changes from one language to the other. In the game, on a French console, she will be called Azalée.

Invite Azalea to your island

Azalea is a villager: in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, scan her card from the Nook Stop terminal to invite her to your campsite, then ask her to move in after several visits. As amiibo are not region-locked, the card scans on every Switch console, including French ones, and the dialogue stays in the language of your console.
