Lottie amiibo card no. 311 – Animal Crossing Series 4
The Lottie amiibo card is number 311 of Animal Crossing card series 4. Lottie (Lou in French, タクミ on the Japanese card) is a pink river otter with a brown bun and a polka-dot ribbon; her French name simply takes the first syllable of “loutre” (otter). Players know her as the interior design specialist: a cheerful assistant in Happy Home Designer, then the boss of her own holiday home agency in the Happy Home Paradise expansion.

Lottie has three amiibo cards in the collection – no. 017 in series 1, no. 311 in series 4 and no. 420 in series 5 – each with a different artwork and number. The one you are buying here is indeed no. 311, series 4, the one where she wears her red estate agency outfit.
Japanese card, French console
Japanese only concerns the printing: the NFC chip is the same everywhere. As amiibo are not region-locked, the card scans on a French Switch just as on a Japanese Switch, and the game displays the character under the French name, Lou, in the language of your console. As series 4 is no longer reprinted in Europe, this is often the only reasonable way to complete your collection.
What card no. 311 does
Lottie is an SP (special character) card: unlike villagers, she cannot move onto your island. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, scan her in Photopia to invite her to a photo shoot and unlock her poster in Nook Shopping; at The Roost café, she comes along with her two employees. The card also works with Happy Home Designer and with New Leaf – Welcome amiibo, where it brings her camper van and her exclusive furniture.
