Animal Crossing Series 4 Amiibo Cards
Series 4 of the Animal Crossing amiibo cards was released in Europe on 17 June 2016. It contains 100 official Nintendo cards, numbered 301 to 400. When it came out, it was meant to close the collection: it took five years, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, before Series 5 arrived.
The Characters of Series 4
Series 4 is particularly rich in special characters. It opens with Isabelle (no. 301), the town hall secretary, and brings together several of the game’s iconic figures: Brewster, the pigeon who runs The Roost café (no. 302), Celeste, the stargazing owl (no. 305), Gracie, the fashion-obsessed giraffe (no. 307), and Gulliver, the sailor seagull (no. 314). Among the villagers you will find Pompom the duck (no. 373), Gayle the alligator (no. 391) and Mira the rabbit (no. 355), as well as residents highly sought after by collectors, such as Zucker (no. 364) and Static (no. 362).
Compatibility
Series 4 cards work with Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Nintendo Switch. Villagers can be invited to your campsite from the Nook Stop terminal; special characters visit you at The Roost café, at Photopia or in the Happy Home Paradise expansion. They are also compatible with New Leaf – Welcome amiibo and Happy Home Designer on 3DS. Cards in the Japanese version work on all Switch consoles, including European ones: amiibo are not region-locked.
