Single Strike Master (s5I)
Single Strike Master (s5I) Expansion: All the Japanese Pokémon Cards
Released in Japan in 2021, the Single Strike Master (s5I) set is a main expansion from the Sword & Shield era. Twin of Rapid Strike Master, it is devoted to the Single Strike style and Single Strike Urshifu. Its card list has 70 numbered cards, not counting secret rares.
The English-language equivalent of Single Strike Master is the Battle Styles expansion. Japanese cards often have a more refined finish and a different market value from their Western versions, which explains why collectors are drawn to the original edition.
Its twin set Rapid Strike Master (s5R), released on the same day, is a natural addition to the collection. The Single Strike and Rapid Strike battle styles also feature in Peerless Fighters (s5a). In Japanese release order, the previous set available in the shop is Shiny Star V (s4a). You can also find all the Sword & Shield sets on our dedicated page.
At Cartes Japonaises, every Single Strike Master card is sold individually and photographed as it is: you see exactly the copy that will be shipped, in a sleeve and top loader. A few cards from Single Strike Master offered on the site: Aegislash, Camping Gear and Murkrow.
