VSTAR Universe (s12a)

Pokémon VSTAR Universe (s12a): The Japanese Card List

Released in Japan in 2022, the VSTAR Universe (s12a) set is a special expansion packed with illustrated cards from the Sword & Shield era. This high class pack closes the Sword & Shield era with a flourish and introduces the AR and SAR rarities, which have been must-haves ever since. Its card list has 172 numbered cards, not counting secret rares.

Its cards were released in the West in Crown Zenith, but with different numbering and sometimes a different distribution. For collectors, the Japanese version of VSTAR Universe remains the reference, with a much-admired holographic finish.

For more high class packs, which are packed with illustrated cards, also see Terastal Festival ex (sv8a) and Shiny Treasure ex (sv4a). In Japanese release order, the previous set available in the shop is Paradigm Trigger (s12), and the next one is Scarlet ex (sv1S). To explore the other sets from the same era, browse our Sword & Shield sets.

At Cartes Japonaises, every VSTAR Universe card is sold individually and photographed as it is: you see exactly the copy that will be shipped, in a sleeve and top loader. A few cards from VSTAR Universe offered on the site: Melony, Grant and Zeraora VMAX.
