25th Anniversary Collection (s8a): All the Japanese Pokémon Cards

Released in Japan in 2021, 25th Anniversary Collection (s8a) is a premium special set from the Sword & Shield era. This anniversary set celebrates 25 years of Pokémon with 28 cards built around Pikachu and the legendary Pokémon. The official card list has 28 cards, plus secret rares numbered beyond 28.

The Western equivalent of 25th Anniversary Collection is the Celebrations expansion. Japanese cards often have a finer finish and a different market value from their English-language counterparts, which explains why collectors are drawn to the original edition.

Pikachu also takes centre stage in Super Electric Breaker (sv8). In Japanese release order, the previous set available in the shop is Fusion Arts (s8), and the next is VMAX Climax (s8b). To explore the other sets from the same era, see our Sword & Shield sets.

All our 25th Anniversary Collection Pokémon cards are authentic Japanese copies, sold individually with real photos of the exact card you will receive, then shipped protected from France. Cards from 25th Anniversary Collection that have already passed through the shop include: Pikachu V-UNION, Lunala and Yveltal.
