Shield (s1H): Japanese Card List and Single Cards

Released in Japan in 2019, the Shield (s1H) set is a main Pokémon TCG expansion from the Sword & Shield era. It opens the Sword & Shield era with its twin Sword, built around Zamazenta V. Its cards are numbered out of 60; any higher number, such as 061/060, denotes a secret rare.

The English-language equivalent of Shield is the Sword & Shield expansion. Japanese cards often have a more refined finish and a different market value from their Western versions, which explains why collectors are drawn to the original edition.

Its twin set Sword (s1W), released on the same day, is a natural addition to the collection. In Japanese release order, the previous set available in the shop is Tag All Stars (sm12a), and the next one is VMAX Rising (s1a). To explore the other sets from the same era, browse our Sword & Shield sets.

We sell Japanese Shield cards individually, with real photos of each copy and careful shipping from France. An example of a card from Shield offered on the site: Bisharp.
