Scarlet ex (sv1S)

Scarlet ex (sv1S) Expansion: All the Japanese Pokémon Cards

Released in Japan in 2023, Scarlet ex (sv1S) is a main expansion (拡張パック) from the Scarlet & Violet era. Together with Violet ex, it opens the Scarlet & Violet era and introduces the lowercase “ex” Pokémon and Tera cards; Koraidon ex is its emblem. The official card list has 78 cards, plus the secret rares numbered beyond 78.

Its cards were released in the West in Scarlet & Violet, but with different numbering and sometimes a different distribution. For collectors, the Japanese version of Scarlet ex remains the reference, with a much-admired holographic finish.

Don’t miss its twin set Violet ex (sv1V): the two expansions complement each other. In Japanese release order, the previous set available in the shop is VSTAR Universe (s12a), and the next one is Triplet Beat (sv1a). To explore the other sets from the same era, browse our Scarlet & Violet sets.

All our Scarlet ex Pokémon cards are authentic Japanese copies, sold individually with real photos of the exact card you will receive, then shipped protected from France. Cards from Scarlet ex that have already passed through the shop include Penny, Lucario and Muk.
