Japanese SSR Pokémon Cards: The Shiny Super Rares

SSR (Shiny Super Rare) cards are shiny full art versions: the Pokémon appears in its “shiny” colours. They are found in the high class packs devoted to shiny Pokémon, Shiny Star V (2020) and Shiny Treasure ex (2023).

The letters “SSR” and a number beyond the set total identify them. The SSR Charizard ex from Shiny Treasure ex is one of the most iconic cards of the Scarlet & Violet era.
