Battle Partners (sv9)

Japanese Battle Partners (sv9) Pokémon Cards: The Full Card List

Battle Partners (sv9) is a main expansion (拡張パック) released in Japan in 2025, during the Scarlet & Violet era. It revives “Trainers’ Pokémon”, a mechanic where each Pokémon belongs to a character from the games, such as Iono, N or Lillie. The official card list has 100 cards, plus secret rares numbered beyond 100.

Its cards were released in the West in Journey Together, but with different numbering and sometimes a different card distribution. For collectors, the Japanese version of Battle Partners remains the reference, with a much-admired holofoil finish.

Trainers’ Pokémon are also at the heart of Heat Wave Arena (sv9a) and The Glory of Team Rocket (sv10). In Japanese release order, the previous set available in the shop is Terastal Festival ex (sv8a). To explore the other sets from the same era, see our Scarlet & Violet sets.

All our Battle Partners Pokémon cards are authentic Japanese copies, sold individually with real photos of the exact card you will receive, then shipped protected from France. A few Battle Partners cards available on the site: Lillie’s Clefairy ex, Levincia and Brock’s Scouting.
