Heat Wave Arena (sv9a)

Heat Wave Arena (sv9a): All the Japanese Pokémon Cards

Released in Japan in 2025, Heat Wave Arena (sv9a) is a support expansion (強化拡張パック) from the Scarlet & Violet era. This support set showcases the Pokémon of famous Trainers, from Cynthia to Misty, in the continuity of Battle Partners. Its cards are numbered out of 63; any higher number, such as 064/063, denotes a secret rare.

In the West, its cards were reprinted in the Destined Rivals expansion. The Japanese version stands out for its smaller booster packs, a print quality that is often praised and Japan-specific card numbers: it is therefore useful to know the Heat Wave Arena card list before hunting for a specific card.

The Glory of Team Rocket (sv10) was also reprinted in Destined Rivals. Trainers’ Pokémon are also at the heart of Battle Partners (sv9). To explore the other sets from the same era, see our Scarlet & Violet sets.

All our Heat Wave Arena Pokémon cards are authentic Japanese copies, sold individually with real photos of the exact card you will receive, then shipped protected from France. Cards from Heat Wave Arena that have already passed through the shop include: Yanmega ex, Ethan’s Adventure and Cynthia’s Roserade.
